3 Tips on keeping your wax clients coming back to YOU!!

1. The first and foremost tip is a skill broadly based across the beauty industry. It is however, in my opinion, the key feature in why your clients will remain faithful and committed to seeing only you when it comes to whipping away their undesirable fuzz. A therapists professional etiquette, demeanor and approach is key to ensure the client has a sense that she/ he is safe and comfortable without judgment (whilst baring all) in what has to sometimes be, quite vulnerable positions!

2. A thorough removal! If a client is paying for unwanted hair to be temporarily terminated, make sure its ALL gone. A client is unlikely to contact a salon to report unwanted hair that has been left lingering in the folds of their most private region, they will just never again return to you!  If you've invested in training, you should be shown how to remove all hair safely and comfortably!

3. Hygiene. Take some pride in your equipment and see what your client observes when they enter your treatment room. All too often i see wax covered heaters and burnt old wax with pots that are swimming in a collection of spilled wax over time. Clean your heater after each client. It takes 20 seconds to apply equipment cleaner to a wax strip and wipe around. Wear gloves for every treatment and never double dip your spatular back in to your wax once its been applied to the client. Clients are more savvy than you think about this!
